Style Sampler

Overview

The Style Sampler renders a 10-second preview of your footage in every preset side by side. Instead of guessing which style fits your project, you see all 9 options and pick the one you like.

How to Use

Ensure you have a project loaded with ingested footage and a music track
Access the Style Sampler in one of two ways:
- From the Welcome Launcher: click 🎨 See All Styles
- From the Advanced tab: click the 🎨 Style Sampler button
A dialog opens showing a 3×3 grid of preset cards
The engine progressively renders a 10-second clip in each preset — STANDARD and RAW render first (fastest), then the rest
As each render completes, you can:
- ▶ Play — watch the 10-second preview
- ✅ Use This — apply that preset to your project and close the sampler

What You See

Each card in the 3×3 grid shows:

Preset name (e.g., AGGRESSIVE, PRESTIGE, VHS)
Description — first sentence of the preset’s description
Status — Queued → Rendering → ✅ Ready
Action buttons — Play and Use This

Renders run one at a time in a background thread, so you can watch completed previews while others are still rendering.

Output Files

Sampler previews are saved in a sampler/ subdirectory of your project:
